Biography
Dr. Essam Abdulaziz Al Shail is a neurosurgeon, medical doctor, and Distinguished Fellow of New Westminster College. He earned a MBBS in Medical and Health Sciences in 1987 from the Medical School at King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He completed his MD Neurological Surgery Residency Training Program from 1988 to 1995 at the King Faisal University in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Al Shail completed his Clinical Fellowship at the Division of Neurosurgery, Hospital for Sick Children from University of Toronto from July 1995 to June 1997. He also completed his Clinical Fellowship at the Craniofacial Program at the Division of Plastic Surgery, Hospital for Sick Children from University of Toronto from July 1997 to June 1998. Dr. Al Shail is a reviewer for peer-reviewed journals with the Annals of Saudi Medicine, Journal of Clinical Neonatology and the Pan Arab Journal of Neurosurgery.
